Between the 583 and the 6802 for OH'S or drums room......which one to choose?

I cannot answer with specificity.
But I would tend to surmise that the 6802 would be the one.
I also assume that, along with the silver grille, will come the silver logo...

think
the 1200 is this:
"9-Pattern Tube Microphone w/ dual 32mm gold sputtered thin Mylar capsules
-10 dB pad & 80 Hz LF roll off switches
'HAND SELECTED' Russian made 6072A , JJ ECC81 or ECC83 Slovak Republic Tubes"
|
I did a search, but couldn't find confirmation on this, so sorry if I missed it .... is it definitely a 32mm capsule in the 1200?
In fact, is any of Terry's info incorrect?
Thanks guys,
Dan

All that info is correct, but I THINK they are using a 12AY7 (possibly X7) I'll check later.

All paid up. 6 pres and 14 mics. I figured I'd keep the ones I like and sell the rest. Or maybe just keep them all. I do like the idea of modding some of them to higher specs, I hope there will be some community energy on this subject, as I'm pretty handy with a solder gun but aren't able to read schematics.
I'm a little bit scared of the shipping costs though. I've had so many ridiculous experiences in the past with shipping to Canada from the US.
Big thanks Chance and Randy for the opportunity to participate.
