The practice of forgiveness is our most important contribution to the healing of the world.
The standard of success in life isn't the things. It isn't the money or the stuff. It is absolutely the amount of joy that you feel.

i love me some foo, but that thing, despite being praised as great, in very very weak market, i just think it sukked...
anyone else with me?

Can't say I am...I think it's really diverse, and probably the softest record (besides the In Hour Honor acoustic disc) overall...but it's kinda refreshing for me to hear a rock band be not afraid to be "just" a rock band. The songs all have a sense of fun or something like that...they just feel kind of effortless and very...intuitive for lack of a better word...accesible?...immediate? Very instinctively gratifying...
I dunno...Let's just chalk it up to me not agreeing, as I think it's an incredible record.

I'm utterly baffled at the general opinion regarding smoking. I don't smoke, but it's a bar, for God's sake. That's what your supposed to expect. It's a den of iniquity where people are going to indulge in all of the minor vices and sins denied to them during their mundane workdays. You can wreck your liver, ruin your hearing, get into a fight, and pick up an STD, but somehow smoking is unacceptable? Sheesh. We've turned into a nation of entitled whiners.

That's the Foos' backline and PA by the look of it. So I guess the rush guys sat in with Taylor and Rami really?
Support last night was Against Me! and HiFi Hangrenades, think they're both on the whole Canadian run too.

Don't get me started. I can't stand any more f'n' foo fighters on my radio. Seriously, I really think most of the stuff that's getting rammed down my throat by rock and pop stations these days is pure rubbish. Editors is another band I'd seriously consider executing if it were the only practical way of shutting them up. I'm quite sure that even if nobody at the radio station liked a track they'd still take it through the rotation cycle.
Have more faith, Bambi. The only right way of dealing with headlights is staring them down.

I know the guys who tracked that record. I hadn't even heard of it when they played it at their studio, but it sounded really well done. Couple stellar songs.
