The practice of forgiveness is our most important contribution to the healing of the world.
The standard of success in life isn't the things. It isn't the money or the stuff. It is absolutely the amount of joy that you feel.

She's great !! Usually Viola I think, but/and she'll also be able to refer you if she's not the one.
Novi Novog

Novi is great. Yeah, it's a viola, but that's just a fiddle on steroids. You can hear her on the Doobie Brothers' "Black Water".
I still have my Chunky, Novi, and Ernie albums.

Cheers.

From Kansas City?
"Last Chance"?
Aye, carumba. Flashback city.

That's the one. Playing right now on a classic rock station somewhere in the Midwest.
Charles is a great guy, and just recently expressed interest in more session work, by coincidence. I'm sure Ross has probably lined someone up by now, though.

Just VSO the machine down a few cents when you record her, Ross. It'll sound fine.
Oh crap, wrong decade.

Well, you could always change the clock rate ... that's what I do!
Not to hijack the thread, but ... I'll never forget the day that the ACG card in my Microlynx was having an issue. (It's typically fixed by just reseating the card.) Anyway, Richard Perry was insisting that we VSO the track (in PT) and after I tell him that it's not working right then, he starts going off about how he's never been in a studio that didn;t have VSO! I guess he hasn't been in many studios with PT. I thought the fact that I could VSO the word clock was the exception more than it was the rule.

They say the heart of Rock & Roll is still beating, which is amazing if you consider all the blow it's done over the years.

"The negative aspects of this business, not only will continue to prevail, but will continue to accelerate in madness. Conditions aren't going to get better, because the economics of rock and roll are getting closer and closer to the economics of Big Business America." - Bill Graham
