Stephen, if anyone had tried it, and read your post, they probably would have answered.
On its face, it looks a bit less than fully professional tools.
At least it's made for Mac!

i know one of their beta testers. it seems audiofinder has many features aimed at engineers and musicians who use a lot of sampled sounds. e.g. it may be able to read .rex files (actually sd2 files with extra metadata) where the apple finder's "preview" (using quicktime) doesn't even bother to try.

audio ease makes some cool software. this app i've been keeping an eye on. not sure i have any use for it, but it's very cool.
