I'm a bit confused about the quote that says:
| Quote: | Chua argued that the memristor was the fourth fundamental circuit element, along with the resistor, capacitor and inductor, and that it had properties that could not be duplicated by any combination of the other three elements.

Egg-scuse me? LRC are all linear two-port elements and you can't use them to emulate diodes, transistors, fets and valves either.

You can't get round resistor noise.
"Politically correct" is the politically correct term for "politically expedient lie".

No mention of whether this is a bistate or continuously variable component. If continuously variable they would be useful in analog computing........
which is much warmer sounding than digital computing.
Let's get one thing straight-I'm not an audio engineer and never said I was. I've just got some things I have to record.(IS)
Announcement: Since smilies are frowned upon by the ACS and it is difficult to detect subtle humor in their absence I will be substituting "(IS)" (implied smiley) where appropriate.
