Hi, I've been having problems in Logic 8 with latency caused by plug-ins.
I have a Vintage Warmer 2, which is great, and the latency compensation works when I use it across individual tracks but when I put it across the main outs or the buses then it doesn't.
I noticed that importing files that had been bounced with the plug-in on had a massive gap at the beginning.
There must be a simple solution.
thanks

Plug in delay compensation does not eliminate latency. It only delays 'other' tracks so that they are all equally behind.
You can shuffle the file back into position if you have a reference, or you can live with it.
BTW, if you have other questions about Logic, this may also be a good resource for you.
