I have a RODE NTV and its 12 pin connector at the bottom of the mic is starting to wiggle loose. I have found no obvious way to tighten this from the outside so I unscrewed the cap on the bottom of the mic. This revealed two small screws which I removed. Still the mic does not want to open with a reasonable amount of pressure applied. I am uninterested in forcing the issue in fear of causing further damage. Any one have any experience with this.
